Aidos ("we," "us," "our") is a brand operated by HECOS LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. By purchasing, accessing, or using any product sold by Aidos (the "Products") or by using our website www.getaidos.com (the "Site"), you ("Customer," "User," "you") agree to the following Disclaimer and Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use our Products.

1. Intended Use of Products

Aidos sells security and surveillance devices intended solely for lawful purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Monitoring of your own private property

  • Protection against theft, intrusion, or property damage

  • Recording spaces you own or legally control, with appropriate consent where required by law

  • Other lawful security, safety, and personal monitoring applications permitted in your jurisdiction

Our Products are not intended for, and must not be used for, any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to:

  • Covert recording of individuals without legally required consent

  • Recording in any location where a person has a reasonable expectation of privacy (such as bathrooms, changing rooms, bedrooms in spaces you do not own, or hotel rooms you do not occupy)

  • Stalking

  • Harassment

  • Voyeurism

  • Blackmail

  • Corporate espionage

  • Any other activity that violates applicable federal, state, local, or international law

2. Legal Compliance Is Your Responsibility

Laws governing audio and video recording devices, surveillance equipment, and privacy vary significantly by country, state, province, and municipality.

You—the purchaser and end user—are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction, including but not limited to:

  • Federal wiretap and electronic surveillance laws (including 18 U.S.C. § 2510 et seq. in the United States)

  • State and local one-party or two-party (all-party) consent laws for audio recording

  • Privacy laws protecting reasonable expectations of privacy

  • Workplace surveillance and employee notification laws

  • Landlord-tenant laws regarding recording in rental properties

  • Laws prohibiting recording of minors

  • Any applicable notification, signage, or disclosure requirements

  • Data protection regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and similar frameworks where applicable

You acknowledge that audio recording laws are often more restrictive than video recording laws, and legality depends on your location, the consent of recorded individuals, and the intended purpose.

3. Disclaimer of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

Aidos, HECOS LLC, and our officers, directors, employees, agents, suppliers, and affiliates disclaim all liability for any illegal, unauthorized, improper, or unintended use of our Products by any purchaser or third party.

We do not monitor, control, or have any knowledge of how purchasers ultimately use the Products after purchase.

We are not responsible for:

  • Any civil, criminal, administrative, or regulatory penalties, fines, or judgments arising from your use of the Products

  • Any damages, losses, or third-party claims resulting from your use, misuse, or unlawful use of the Products

  • Any violation of privacy, surveillance, wiretap, or consent laws

  • Any harm, injury, embarrassment, emotional distress, or reputational damage caused by Product use

  • Failure of the Products to perform in any specific manner or under any particular conditions

4. Indemnification

5. No Warranty Regarding Legality

We make no representation or warranty that the Products, or any specific use of them, are legal in any particular jurisdiction.

Availability for purchase on www.getaidos.com does not imply legality of use where you are located.

It is your responsibility to verify legality before purchase and use.

6. Product Warranty Disclaimer

Except as expressly stated in any written warranty accompanying a Product, all Products are sold "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.

8. Age Restriction

Products are intended for purchase and use by individuals aged 18 years or older, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction.

By purchasing our Products, you represent that you satisfy this requirement.

We do not knowingly sell Products to minors.

9. Permitted and Prohibited Uses

You may use our Products to:

  • Monitor your own home, business, or property

  • Protect personal belongings

  • Deter theft or trespassing

  • Record in locations where doing so is lawful

You may not use our Products to:

  • Record individuals without legally required consent

  • Record where a reasonable expectation of privacy exists

  • Record audio where consent has not been obtained if required by law

  • Harass, stalk, intimidate, or threaten anyone

  • Record minors without legal authority

  • Record in workplaces in violation of applicable laws

  • Record in rental properties where prohibited

  • Commit any unlawful act

10. Right to Refuse or Cancel Orders

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order, or terminate any customer account, at our sole discretion.

This includes orders suspected of:

  • Fraud

  • Illegal use

  • Shipment to restricted jurisdictions

12. Intellectual Property

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Products shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration administered under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, with arbitration taking place in Wyoming.

Either party may seek injunctive relief through the courts solely for intellectual property matters.

You waive any right to participate in any class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

If any provision of these Terms is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15. Severability
